@ Auckland, NZ, 2011

This is a work in progress. This frame is complete, but it will be complemented by a few more. Watch this space!

Title: Land of the long white cloud
Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 20" x 16"

Another one on the series on 'Vanshing Point'

Title: Vanishing point
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Size: B2 [20" x 27"]

This is a sequel to the one I did last year, named: 'At peace with the world'

Title: At the end of the day...
Medium: Oil on paper
Size: A3

Since oil takes time to dry, I couldn't finish too many last year. So Jaita suggested I try acrylic. This is my first attempt to use acrylic as oil, though I am not very happy with the effects!

Title: Faces
Medium: Acrylic on paper
Size: A3

Here is a small oil frame that I started in India and finished in New Zealand.

Title: Hibiscus
Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 4" x 6"

Doesn't this reflect my cluttered mind?

Title: Mind-maze
Medium: Acrylic and wax on paper
Size: 14" x 10"

Title: Dancer 1
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 6" x 10"

Title: Dancer 2
Medium: Acrylic on canvas

  3. I def like 'Vanishing Point' now :) More than drama, which i thought a human figure would add to the work....this figure somehow 'situates' the painting, gives it more 'root'...so the effect is quite nice. And yes, you were right, all the 'drama' in the painting is def the prerogative of the colours. So, a good one here :)
